From the Morobe and Madang provinces of Papua New Guinea, this coffee is grown across remote mountainous regions including Belombibi, Wawet, Hongo, and Neng. Papua New Guinea is one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world, with over 800 native languages, and coffee plays a vital role in supporting rural livelihoods across the island nation.

At 1,200–1,700 meters above sea level, coffee is cultivated in highland environments that promote slow cherry development and vibrant acidity. Across Papua New Guinea, coffee production provides income for an estimated 400,000 rural households, with most of the crop exported to international specialty markets.

This coffee is fully washed and processed using traditional methods that highlight clarity and floral expression. Careful cultivation of Typica and Mundo Novo varietals contributes to a clean and structured cup profile.

The result is a balanced and elegant coffee with medium body and medium to high acidity, featuring citrus brightness, jasmine florals, and caramel sweetness. It reflects both the diversity of Papua New Guinea’s landscapes and the importance of coffee as a cornerstone of rural economic life.
